DEFENSE SCHEDULE #1
- 5 days of defenses, 8 classrooms, 2 teachers per classroom, 3 defenses in each room - Entire defense (presentation, calibration, feedback) take 30-40 minutes each (2 hours total) - Up to 120 student defenses (24 defense per day, 5 days) - Can be implemented on a shortened day schedule (1:30-3:30 pm) or after-school (3:30-5:30 pm) |
DEFENSE SCHEDULE #2
- 4 days of defenses, 3 classrooms, 2 teachers per classroom, 2 defenses in each room per 60-minute class period - Entire defense (presentation, calibration, feedback) take 25-30 minutes each, all occurring during the school day - The defense might take place during class time when the student presents in front of a class audience or in an empty classroom where teachers join the panel during their conference period - Up to 144 student defenses (6 defenses per period, 6 periods a day, 4 days) |
